So just when I thought it was safe…the phone calls returned. First it was from Just Lunch the dating place that was going to cost me $1800.00. After I had avoided their calls, the receptionst called me and left a VM that went somewhat like this..
JL:Hi, this is Erin from Just Lunch and I had a couple of options for you if you could call back.
After thinking that the couple of options were “maybe they will give me this service for free” or that “they decided to call and apoligize for harassing me”, I have decided to do the mature thing….simple avoidence for just a bit longer…well see how it works
The second callback came from Erick. Erick if you remember was the guy who thought that we were dating after a couple of dates and could not understand why I did not want a BF and had a bad phone conversation. After being shocked that he called me after 3 months I returned the call…
Me:Hey wat’s up
Erick: Hey how are you
Me: Good
Erick: said something that was interesting I am sure -”so were you ever going to come see my apartment”
Me: (thinking)- we have not talked for 3 months why is he acting like we currently talk.
At least the phone conversation was slightly less painful than 3 months ago
I think that I will play the avoidence game with him as well
